Inspiring Person
Ed Whitlock. He ran an octogenarian world marathon record of 3:15:51 in October. He also set some records when he was in the 70-79 age bracket. He's running about 7 1/2 minute miles. He's 80. I would love to be able to sprint ONE 7 1/2 minute mile. I guess I have a new goal.
I find it hard to be lazy or make excuses for not achieving a physical fitness goal when I see what people twice my age can do. If you're the same way, check out more seniors who haven't stopped moving.
