I can attest to the self-confidence boost that fitness provides. It kind of creeps up, too. After you've worked out for a while, you are just more confident. It's confidence in every aspect of life, not just fitness. I feel better about my ability to tackle any situation that comes my way. I am not just physically stronger, I am emotionally stronger. It's the benefit of setting incremental goals and then meeting them.
